Cubana closed about 3-4 seasons ago and hasn't reopened as far as I know.
Baga is the place for the best choice of nightclubs.
Yes Club Cubana was great but sadly it was closed down some years ago.
Hi supro, try Club Paradiso in Anjuna set on a clifftop!
Are there any clubs in Calagunte? I was hoping to shake the booty I've been exercising non stop for weeks now at some point during our time in Goa!
Was seeing your posts and could feel the excitement:)
Simply put, Goa rocks. That said, here's a suggestion.
If you have an option, you may want to look at hotels in Candolim or Baga. Calangute has become too commercial and is not as much fun as it used to be in the old days(this will be my 7th trip...the first in 1995!).
Remember is one long stretch of beach...to the left most extreme is sinquerim, then candolim, then calangute and it ends at baga to the right extreme...so you don't miss any of the fun. these days all the tour groups seem to flock to calangute....therefore the crowd.
anyway, even if you can't am sure you'll have a blast.
only wish club cabana was open...the best i have been to...ever.
Stalex, is Tito any good...last time around it looked pretty jaded...nearly empty and not quite the hotspot it used to be. apparently mambo is owned by the same chaps.
Hi Supro they are both owned by the same brothers. You are right about it being a bit jaded and apparently it's not a place where the DJs really get the crowd going. Friends who went there and to Mambo in December preferred Mambo by far as it has more of a trendy boutique feel to it. If you want to try something totally different why not have a couple of days in a beach hut in Palolem and try out the Silent Noise parties see www.silentnoise.in/ now that's more like it!
Thanks for the input peeps :-) looks like we'll be staying in Baga for a couple of nights!
try a taxi to hilltop vagator friday nights
