has anyone booked for 2011? from emids to goa? mayb try down southern part next year but need advice as to how to get there??????
No flights next season from East Mids unfortunately....;-(
East Midlands and Birmingham both seem to be no go for charter flights
next season, which is a pain for us Midlanders . Yet another obtacle for Goan holidays. We'll still go, but now you have to add the drag down to Gatwick or up to Manchester to the travel time.
Or fly scheduled from Heathrow......;-)
dare i say may have to miss for 2011.hate flying from london airport and manchester too far to go : (
omg, where am i gonna go now????/
Manchester is only about ½ hour further than East Mids...
M6 instead of M42Edited: 14 January 2010, 01:33
Why have they stopped the flights from East Midands,
Our flight was full & I did not see any other reports of
empty seats on flights.
East Midlands a great airport for us, 1 hour on a steady
Guess they dont think it is profitable anymore.......
We live 15 mins from BHX and 50 from EMA..
So its either MAnchester or GAtwick for charters...
WE are flying Kingfisher from Heathrow in MArch...so that could be the way forward....
maybe i shud say, ok,lets re-look... wont give up yet lol
It's easier to get a Flights coach to and from Gatwick if you don't fancy the drive around the M25 after a nine hour flight.
There doesn't seem to be so many coaches to Manchester, and its easier on the M6 than 25, so I tend to drive there. Cheaper to park there as well.
Still got to make the decision for 2011. Depends which one has got the weekend flights for us.
