A friend completed her application online and sent it to Edinburgh. She kept track of its progress and it was received and sent to the Consulate. She then got a message on her answering machine telling her she had not provided a return address, and it stated on the website that it was awaiting collection by courier. She called them to advise them of the address to send it to, but did not receive it.
She checked online this week and could find no trace of her application, and neither could VFS when she called them. She knows it was delivered to them as Royal Mail confirmed this. How could they not have an address when you have to enter it on the form 3 times? She is awaiting a call, but is not confident, and is preparing to apply for a new passport.
