Stayed at the Dona Sylvia last year it was great going again next year. Even though the hotel is all inclusive I think you will find it cheaper than Haati Mahal. Its on a lovley beach and is in the centre of Cavellosim. We ate out every other night even though the food was good in the hotel. Have a look at

I dont think Dona Sylvia is cheaper we got 2 adults 1 child (7) including flights b&b for 28 nights for £2600 also food is so cheap over there that a lot of the fun is eating in the many rest. and beach shacks nearby.

We have stayed in both the Holiday Inn and the Haati and the Haati is much nicer. The Holiday Inn is a bit old and scruffy.

I've always said I would save a bit extra and stay in the Lella which is so much nicer than both (but a lot more expensive).
