HCI London in September!

I plan to get my visa during the last week of September. Has anyone else been then and what is it like.? How busy is it then and what time should I get there?

Last year I got mine a few days before xmas arrived at 7.50am and was 162nd from what I can remember! That was fun LOL. It was dark and all it did was drizzle, drizzle, drizzle!!! When I was outside anyway.

They could make a few bob if they had a cafe rather than just vending machines.

I've got mine in October before and it hasn't been *as bad* as December, but all things are relative and it's still pretty chaotic. Personally I'd get there early just to get it over and done with!!

personally,i never get there to early,i leave ipswich at about

10 past 9 (because of the fare structure),before 9 a m the rail

company charge premium rates on rail fares because of,call it

commuter rate,about £35,after 9 it costs about £15 return,so i

get the 10 past 9 train, get into london liverpool street about 10 30

ihc by 11 o clock/ish,usually ticket no 250/350,or something in

between,usually out before 12 30/13 00,time for a beer before

the train home.

looking at the old visas in my passport i see that i got the visas

from between a month before to a few days before we go,

the earliest i can see is early october, getting to goa 24th of nov,

the last one was 20th march this year, arrival 23rd,so i guess

it does'nt make that much difference really, you takes your choice,

i will say that i don't think you will be turned away if you get there

before 12 00,can't gaurantee that mind, but because of train delays, one time we got there at about 11 45 got our ticket, and

got our visas before 1 00,but i do think that was an exeption rather

than the rule(the staff probably wanted their lunch)

as i say, these are our experiences, others may not have had our

hope this ramble might be of some help.
