Full Moon parties?

We are in Goa for the first time between 1st - 16th April and were wondering whether there would be any full moon, beach parties at this time and where they would be? Just always fancied trying one out for experience sake. cheers.

Might find one going off in Palolem, no idea as to when or who to ask to find out. Think there is a place called Chattai Huts or similar in Palolem that seem to be into the music culture.

Stumbled across a few on my stays in Palolem, so maybe be quite frequent.

Anjuna used to have them but local police put the hammer down, so is a bit underground now, and often get stopped by police.

Got me interested now, I will have a search round and if I get any info, I will re-post.

Thanks both. Hopefully we will be able to catch one going off during our stay. Hopefully we will get a beach hut nearby on this night. Will share our experience when we get back.

There have been a number of full moon parties at Butterfly beach. You can get there from Agonda or palolem by boat. I'll be in Agonda from 9April for 2 weeks
