British orientated hotels

Can anyone recommend a quite hotel with a relaxing athmoshere, no loud music on the beach? I was thinking a hotel having mainly British guests would be what we are looking for. Though I am Italian and we love Italy we would not like to stay in a hotel full of Italians because it would be like staying at home and we prefer a more international athmosphere. We were at the Calimera last year and it was ok but we would like a change. What we are looking for is a quite and relaxing hotel, quiet and spacious beach, good snorkeling is extremely important, possibly AI, possibly 5*, entertainment is not so important. Hilton Sharks Bay may be? Can anyone help me, please? I am reading so many reviews but I am getting more and more confused. Thanks.

Hi,

Jolie Ville Resort & Casino is 5* & has a fairly wide selection of nationalities, but isn't mainly Brits really & there are some Italians. If you go AI, you will probably come across a lot of the "nationality who must not be named". (I'm not being racist, just factual) JV usually has none or 2 or 3 of that nationality in question.

The only loud music is when they do the 20 mins aquaerobics or the Latin dance class twice a week.

We have been 4 times (B+B)& really love it.

Thanks to you all. How is snorkeling in Coral Sea Resort?

What about Hilton Sharks Bay or Hilton Fayrouz or Sofitel? Are they quiet and relaxing? What about nationalities in these hotels? Sorry, so many questions. Can anyone help? Thanks a lot.

The sea is very shallow at the csr so you have to wade quite awy out for good snorkeling.

We stayed at Renaissance Golden View Beach Hotel. Was mixture of mainly British / American, some other european, unfortunately some Russian (however hotel keep Russians in one area so don;t bother other guests). Snorkelling excellent from hotel jetty as its actually on the edge of one of the prime coral reef sites. Official rating of hotel is 5* but personally I'd say it was more a good 4*.

I also stayed at RGVB. Seemed to be mainly Brits and a few Italians. I did hear there were Russians, but that they kept them away from us as they know we dont like how they carry on (heavy drinking, rude & wasting all the food at buffets)

Hotel is classed as 5* Egyptian. I thought that the standards were good and the location great. It's not an AI though. No entertainment, but that is ususal for most Red Sea hotels.
