Tropicana North Tower

We are currently booked in the North Tower at the Trop for this weekend. I have read bad things about the West tower. Any insights about the North?

Thanks.

The last time I stayed there I was in the North Tower. I believe all the rooms have been renovated in the past year. It was definately and new bed, real comfy. The only part of the room that was not updated was the tile and tub in the bathroom, but it was fine. I think it is only the West Tower that has not been renovated. I'm not a fan of the Havana Tower. It is convenient to The Quarter, but far from the casino. I don't think the rooms are any nicer and certainly not worth the premium that is usually charged for them. When I stay there I always ask for North or South, they are the most convenient to the casino.

The North is what they called refurbished, which means it was probably renovated to a certain extent. The South Tower was completely renovated including the bathroom and is the best tower at Tropicana, even though it's counted as standard. =))
