Absolutely! I am in the Oceans right now (sadly checked out already), and I love it, it is just like the Revel with some new carpets. Of course, I loved the Revel, so those who despised the wide open spaces in the Revel will despise the Ocean now, as everything looks just the same.

Of course it is a matter of personal preferences, but The Borg isn't doing it for me anymore. The strong smoke smell is just one reason.

Ocean's buffet isn't there yet, they announced it via in-house billboard for the upcoming winter. Also the cereal place is still preparing to open. But I spent 3 happy days here (2 nights) and I will go back as soon as I can (that will be in the winter).

I had room service, visited pool and spa, played slots and received triple points (promo until Sep 30th).

Will write trip report later.

Sure, why not if it fits your schedule and you can welcome a change. You will have other nearby casinos, and many other Boardwalk attractions, including beach bars and the new big Wheel over the ocean.

I would stay at OR for the beach , boardwalk , and view . If I was getting comp rooms ,$$$ , offers from Borgata I would also spend part of my days there .

if the cost is the same or comp'd I'd stay at Oceans - not because I think its better than Borgata (I don't) but because its new and has a good location for summer -- boardwalk, beach - and the other new casino Hard Rock.

If the price is right absolutely check it out. Location in the summer is great, walking distance to Hard Rock, Resorts and Steel Pier gives you many options for a good vacation.
