shopping,baggage storage and taylor

Hi all i hope someone can help me. My husband and I will be coming from Xi'an to Hong Kong but we want to fly into Shenzen first then take the train back to Hong Kong. We would like to store or baggage so we can go shopping. Can someone tell me where we could and should store the baggage, we will not be staying at a hotel in Shenzhen so that is out.

Also we would like to know if anyone knows a good taylor in Shenzhen and where is the best place to pick up fabric. Thanks all in advance for taking the time to help.

Go to the 5th floor of LuoHu Commercal Centre - across the pedestrian mall from the station, after dropping your luggage. There are dozens of tailors. Assuming you want a quick job, you'll have to ask around. My tailor won't do rushed jobs - usually requires 2 weeks. A helpful tailor will escort you around the fabric market or you can wander around by yourself first (on the same floor). The tailors also have swatches of plain fabrics eg silks, leather, linen, denim etc

Absolutely worth it. Have a look at the sample garments on show and you will know if that shop makes the sort of things you want. Some tailors, while they make fabulous suits, pants, coats, etc. are not good as dressmakers. The workers are Chinese and IMHO, they make better clothes than some of the non-Chinese tailors in Hong Kong
