Israeli stamp on passport and entry to UAE, Oman and Qatar

Has anyone had any trouble getting into any of these countries recently with an Israeli stamp on their passport? I have heard that these three countries are not a problem but would like to confirm with someone who has done it recently.

Thanks,

Bill

Unlike Saudi Arabia... UAE, Oman & Qatar has a more relaxed environment... Qatar - even has a good relationship with Israel.

In-fact a friend of mine who has previously visited Jerusalem, did a Middle East Tour this year - she didn't face any issues.

So don't worry & just enjoy your trip.

A friend of mine with Dubai stamps in his passport (he works there) recently got strip searched (by a woman!) on arrival in Israel. Seems it might be better to visit Dubai with an Israel stamp than the other way around!

As far as I know, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar recognise Israel as a state although they don't actually have any diplomatic missions in each other's countries.

Hey!

I was wondering if you actually didn't have any problems getting into Qatar with Israeli stamp? As I have an Israeli stamp in my passport and I have to change planes in Doha (I am not planning on going to the city, just transit area), I am wondering if I should change my passport or can I keep this one...

Keep the one you have no need to change and it is not an issue.

As you are in transit the only time your passport will be looked at is when you are at the gate for your next flight. The staff ( not immigration) will check that the passport has more than 6 months, the photograph and name to compare to ticket and whether you have the correct documentation for the immigration of the destination country ( other wise the airline can be fined and have to pay for your return).
