Belly dancing - best place to go see and possibly join in?

Hi

I'm going to be in Dubai - staying at the Jebel Ali at the beginning of February 2012. Being a student of bellydancing in the UK I'd dearly love to see and possible try some authentic Arabic dancing whislt in Dubai.

Can anyone recommend any restaurant's/bars for me to visit on my 3 night stay?

Think your best bet would be to do the desert safari & dinner :-)

I agree that doing a desert safari is your best (possibly only) option. I'm sure the lovely Russian belly dancer would be delighted to have you join her as they drag people up anyway but you'll have about 200 people watching :)
