Hi, I am travelling to Dubai shortly and am currently taking an antidepressant Citralopram.. does anyone have any experience of taking this into the country?

Any advice would be great 😃

In order to carry that type of medication then you must

1. Carry a copy of the prescription and a letter from your doctor, which must have the GP's registered stamp on it.

2. Take no more than you need for your holiday and keep it in its original packaging that shows your name as a match to the prescription

3. Carry the medication in your hand luggage.

You do not have to declare anything or produce the documentation unless you are asked to do so.

Please note that the above advice is not sufficient if you are travelling for more than 30 days or intending to carry more than 30 days worth of medication
