Nice quaint little town, good food.

It's small enough town that one can basically walk everywhere yet there is enough around that one can spend a few days. We lucked in and stayed at a very nice hotel, Maison Souvannaphoum, with very helpful staff and great restaurant recommendations.

It can be a very nice few day short hop from Bangkok which we visit often - We just may go back.

Two things to note:

- It may be S.E.Asia. In the winter, it can get cold there mornings and evenings.

- The night market, right on main street and stretches through a good part of town, is nice to visit at least once. However, if one has to walk through it often, getting from one part of town to another, it can be a pain.
