Do the slowboats stop at Pak ou caves?

Just wondering if I need to do the Pak ou caves daytrip on one of our days in Luang Prabang or is it a stop along the way for the 2 day slowboats heading to Huay Xai?

We'll only be taking the regular cheap slow boat.

Thanks in advance

The regular Houayxay-LP boats go past Pak Ou but don't stop. You can do it as a half day trip (5-6hrs) from LP so don't need to take a whole day

Unfortuately, the slow boat from Luang Prabang to Huay Xai won't stop at the Pak Ou Caves, it only passes. But you can take a half day trip to Pak Ou Caves after your Luang Prabang city tour. It will be good enough.

The Nagi boat does stop for a tour - as well as stopping at a couple of villages along the way. Costs quite a bit more than the regular boat, though.
