First time in Croatia with young children

We are a young family with 2 young boys (1 and 3). Its our first visit to Croatia and we have our eye on Pula. I did a little research and it looks beautiful however I am concerned that wmthe kids will get bored. Looking for parks, play areas, water parks etc..

Any advice on the matter is appreciated and even pointing me in the direction of other cities that are better for young kids would be good if needed.

Thanks alot.

Pula is a good choice since in Istria you have two big water parks, one of them named 2nd best in Europe.

Or check out Biograd, which is very family friendly and there's also an amusement park outside the town.

I think the Poreč area would be a much better choice. One waterpark is very close, to the south of the centre, while another is not too far away, near Novigrad. Also, a Dinopark at Funtana (close enough and along the main road to Vrsar). The Poreč area is more... developed and interesting than say, Rovinj's. There's also a noddy train going quite some distance from Poreč to the south, connecting many hotels and there are also many paved paths. Various kiosks, hotels and restaurants along the coast make it a more convenient area to stay. Also, do consider staying in a campsite if your kids enjoy water. And there are always many other kids at campsites and things to do.

Take a look at the short summary movies of mine, riding from Vrsar to Poreč (there's a link to the "full" movie, in real time!); https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8h4gEiQ-KJ4 And this one has glimpses of Poreč itself and the very nice park-like area to the north of the town (and beyond): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7v0co6b0Bs0
