The YouTube video you linked is from October 2011, and the Guardian article was published in April 2016. My daughter and I were in Mostar and Sarajevo last month, and we felt completely safe.

I was in Sarajevo this summer for an extended business trip. I’m retirement age, have white hair and wear glasses, and never felt in any danger. My coworkers had lived in Sarajevo for several years and also did not think it was a dangerous place.

I never heard of eight foreign tourists being robbed in Sarajevo just within one day, like it happened yesterday in NP Krka by Sibenik:

https://sibenski.slobodnadalmacija.hr/vijest…

2,000 in total this season. So it seems Croatia, an EU country, is much less safe...

There is no way to compare Bosnia and Croatia.

Croatia is among TOP 10 world touris destination.

It is quite hard that tourist will be attack in Bosnia as there are no any ...

Sad that Bosnia is avoided by tourists ... except Medugorje where Croatians are majority.

Avoided? Sarajevo and Mostar are bursting with the tourists, Sarajevo airport handled 430,140 passengers, up 12% compared with the last year (https://www.exyuaviation.com/2018/07/sarajev…).

Three daily flights just from / to Dubai - Quote (https://www.exyuaviation.com/2018/07/mideast…):

"Sarajevo Airport is experiencing a significant growth in flight operations from the Middle East this summer season as demand from the region continues to surge. The airport now boasts nonstop services to the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, while Muscat in Oman and Manama in Bahrain are among the most popular unserved routes from the Bosnian capital. Leading the way among Middle Eastern carriers is Flydubai, which currently maintains three daily services between its hub and the Bosnian capital. The triple daily operation commenced in mid-June, following the Eid holiday, and will run until mid-September."

It is actually Medjugorje that registered sharp decline of visitors in this year (www.medjugorjelive.org/forum/viewtopic.php…):

"Statistics provided by the Medjugorje parish indicate a continuing decline in pilgrim numbers for the first three months of 2018.

Communion numbers are down 18% compared with 2017, and down 38% on the same period for 2016."

Accordingly, "Mostar Airport has seen its passenger numbers decline for a sixteenth consecutive month despite securing two new seasonal services from Dusseldorf and Stuttgart operated by Eurowings and year-round flights by Croatia Airlines from Zagreb." (https://www.exyuaviation.com/2018/07/mostar-…)

Probably has to do with the refusal of Vatican to officialy recognise ;edjugorje?

I hope there will be someone else to help me about my safety in Bosnia.

Well statistics would not be showing ever growing numbers of tourists if they were feeling unsafe, wouldn't they? All the foreign media which report about the tourism boom in Bosnia describe it as a safe country (with the usual caveat - same like they mention for some areas in Croatia - that at some locations there is still danger from landmines or unexploded ordnance)

"I am not intrested in statistics of airport passangers in Bosnia." - they just show you talk rubbish when you say there are no tourists in Bosnia

"You provided nothing but statistics and news or politics from sorrounding countris." - Nope, news showing there is a tourism boom in Bosnia

Or is it article from "Guardian" also about surrunding countries?

https://www.theguardian.com/travel/2018/sep/…

"Even without factoring in its incendiary role in the first world war, the history of Sarajevo can seem impossibly sad. Despite that, it doesn’t feel like a sad place to visit because when you come here, you get the sense that the city is now looking to the future. And it does that with dignity, resilience, an indomitable spirit and hope. If you want to discover somewhere remarkable, then make your way to Sarajevo."
