Hello. Trying to pick out a boat for next summer, leaning towards June. My head has been spinning with choices. I think I’m landing on the Anahi. I just wanted to see if there is anyone who has been on it recently. My priorities are an 8 day, on a catamaran, lots of activities and good food. Thanks in advance
A quick search of the forum should show you this. I think it's #16, the poster said they were there in December.
I was interested as we'll be on it in May 2025 and he was able answer some of my questions.
Anahi was one of two options given us for our very tight time frame by Heather, a DE who also is a travel agent for the Galapagos.

as noted above, this is a ship we have no problems recommending. We know the owners pretty well and after a lot of research, we decided to use it for our "photo / artist" tours. It's owned by a very nice Ecuadorian couple. Of course, there are several other ships we have no problems recommending. Overall, the quality of the ship fleet in Galapagos has gone up quite a bit in the past 20 years.

Hi I did two tours on the Anahi - an 8-day and 5-day tour. I enjoyed both tours. It was the best thing I've done in my life. However, there was an issue with the tour guide that is too complicated to get into here. I've written an article about each tour - just do an internet search for my blog The Bamboo Traveler - and look for my articles on the website - it's got the title Anahi in it.
