I am going to the Galápagos Islands in April and I’m looking to do a land-based tour for 7 days. Can someone recommend a good tour company I can use? I considered planning this on my own, but I’ve heard that a tour company would be a better option. Is that accurate? Thanks!

My husband and I took a land based tour through Gate1. We enjoyed it very much and would even consider doing the same trip again.
Hello, just got back from Galapagos over Christmas and did land-based tours myself. Personally would prefer booking tours direct with agencies based on each island to get the best rates. If booking multiple activities with the same tour operator, do try to negotiate for discounts.

**Galapagos blue sky charged a premium for North Seymour tours if you book in advance. In case you decide to book this tour, better to book it "last minute" for better rates.
