Snorkel-heavy cruise around the Eastern islands

Hi all

My husband and I visited the Galapagos in April 2017 and it remains one of our favourite ever wildlife trips. We were aboard the Eden and took the western itinerary which went around the entirety of Isabela and involved lots of snorkelling. We are looking to return next year to do a cruise focussing on the east, areas we haven’t visited before. We are big snorkellers so a bonus would be a more active itinerary, if that exists. so would the chance to see hammerheads! Any recommendations much appreciated x

Dear RL,

search on-line for active Galapagos cruises and see what you find. Some do focus on getting you out and about as much as possible.

I xpect you know or will come across it, but I snorkelled with many hammerheads at Kicker Rock and others in my group who scuba, dove with them. That’s a day trip option from San Cristobal to give you another shot if you miss them on your cruise.
