Advice for Quito airport lounge on 6 hr connection

I have 6 hours connection time in Quito, arriving from North America but with my onward destination being domestic, San Chrisobal in Galapagos. Will I be able to enter the international VIP lounge once I clear customs and then re-enter for my domestic departure?

Will I be able to re-enter past security with nearly 6 hours before my flight?

I’m trying to decide which lounge pass would be appropriate. I arrive at 2:45am and depart at 9:30am

Thanks in advance for any tips

Karin

You won't be able to go through that early. If you have checked luggage, the Galapagos customs check won't be open, and you will also need to get a Galapagos TCT card landside, but the kiosk won't be open. (It opens 2-3 hours before the first flight.) When you do go through, you will be in the domestic terminal, so you won't have access to the international lounge.

There is a small landside lounge directly across from the terminal called Layover Stay.

If you are able to purchase a pass for the international lounge, do it! It was included with our airfare, so I’m not sure if single entry passes are available, but it’s one of the most beautiful airport lounges we’ve experienced anywhere in the world!

There is a "Layover Lounge" that is free for Priority Pass members. It is landside so you can rest up for up to 4 hrs there before you check in for your international flight.
