Will Avianca turn us away if we have a resident fare?

Will Avianca turn us away if we have a resident fare?

Hi all,

Just curious if a resident fare ticket is guaranteed. I know there would be a fee at check in, but its cheaper to book the resident fare and pay the $150USD fee each way than it is to book the non-resident fare

Dear Thomas,

seems to me that you're playing around with the system. You never know what that can lead to. If you really wanted to get to Galapagos, I suggest that these efforts to save what will amount to a few dollars, at the risk of missing your flight, are not worth it.
