Galapagos Sky Review

Just come back home from an amazing experience with the Galapagos Sky liveaboard - by far the best trip in over 30 years of diving!

Everything about our week on Galapagos sky was above expectations. Starting with the diving, we saw everything we really wanted to see and so much more.

Never have we had hammerheads, galapagos sharks, silky sharks, whale sharks, eagle rays, dolphins, turtles , morays and loads of fish all in a single dive!!! The dive sat Wolf and Darwin are beyond belief, with huge 15m+ whale sharks most dives, hammerheads and Galapagos sharks on every dive and loads of other amazing sights,Add to this seeing Mola Mola, penguins, sea lions, marine iguanas, mobula rays, reef sharks, sting & marble rays and so much more, truly the best dive trip ever,

The crew on the boat are just as great, with a full service all day every day. This includes helping you gear up (getting into your wetsuit, gloves hoods etc) and ensuring you’re all set for your dive. On return the whole crew are out to help you de~Gear, with people helping take wetsuits off, handing you warm towels as you step out of the (hot) showers on deck, giving hot tea or chocolate with snacks and cleaning up behind you. Everything is such a breeze and good fun with all the guys!

Our dive guide, Claudia, was brilliant, getting us to the best spots in the dive sites, helping spot things you might miss by being distracted by all the different life there, and generally being great fun.

Strongly recommend the Galapagos Sky if you want the diving trip of a lifetime - I genuinely can’t believe there’s anything better out there!

Sounds like a great trip. The sight of a whale shark so close that it occludes everything else is a not-to-be-missed experience!
