Yes, the Expedition was at Santiago Island the same day as we were. There is a photo of it in the March 9 day of activities. We did not see the Exploration. Note that I tend to use the more common spellings of the ships names.... Celebrity calls them Xpedition and Xploration, using the Celebrity "X" trademark.

Wonderful review! We are looking to book a Galapagos trip for next spring and this gave us a great taste of what is to come. Can I ask you how you decided between the Flora vs Xpidition and which route to take?

I wish I could say that I made some thoughtful decision between the ships and routes, but the ship choice was mainly because we had been on several other cruises on Windstar ships of 149 passenger capacity and were happy with that, so the 100 passenger capacity Flora seemed to be somewhat similar. While there seem to be two different routes the Flora takes, they are probably about 75% the same, and I did not research the differences. For us, we had a limited timeframe within which we could travel and the dates for this route matched the time/dates we had available better.
