We are in a very similar situation to you and the tour company is unwilling to refund the cost of our hotel in Bali. Have you managed to get a refund?

Hi, have you thought about Penang? We are looking to maybe re-route to go there, combined with Kuala Lumpur - best of luck.....

depending on what your interests are, Siem Reap in cambodia is fantastic, no need to worry about getting a visa in advance you can get them on arrival all you need is 1 photo (if you don;t have one they will charge you USD2 and photocopy your passport, and USD30.00 in cash only per person

We travelled to Vietnam from Singapore into HCMC and out of Danang but both Thailand and Malaysia are both easy to reach from Singapore.

Sorry to hear of your plight, wouldn't your travel insurance cover any losses ?

I see you have only allocated 4 out of your 14 days for Singapore, have you looked into what there is to do there as you might feel you now want to spend more time in Singapore then add on a short side trip, just a thought :)

There is much to do and see in Singapore, it is no longer viewed as a stopover or shopping excursion. Please consider staying in Singapore and experience the real Singapore. Have a look at the document graciously put together by Avanti on free and low cost things to do in Singapore in the Top Questions about Singapore on the top right hand side.

i suggest you head up to Pulau Perhentian in Terengganu. for a couple of days and explore the east coast of Malaysia.

You should stay more days in Singapore. You can head north to any number of places. There are many Budget Airlines flying to these places. Consider Bangkok or Phuket in Thailand. And always buy travel insurance!
