I am planning a trip to Singapore but I don't like so much chinese food, or spicy food.
Can I find easily international food (american, italian,...)?
Yes you can find all sorts of food, spicy and non spicy just about everywhere,
hello Chris75 and welcome top Singapore forums.
Singapore is actually a foodie paradise and you can easily find anything around here.
How about Malay, Arab, Indian, Thai, Indonesian etc. Not your thing either?
You can find a wide variety of food in Singapore. I'm not sure where you are from but the " Chinese " dishes we had in Singapore are not like the ones we get from our local take-away in the UK so you never know you may be converted lol
Just saw there are two Hard Rock Cafe in Singapore, my favorite restaurant all over the world! (when you go there you already know what you are going to eat, no surprise).
I don't like so much spicy food. But as far as it's international it's ok.
In Singapore parlance, you mean Western (not international) food. Singapore has plenty of them too. Look for stall names with that description ("Western Food") at the hawker centres, food courts & koptiams. The local version is Hainanese-rooted (their chefs used to cook the colonial masters), with pasta notably added as a staple in the past few decades.
There are also local restaurant chains like Jack's Place (steakhouse), Pastamania (pasta) & Botak Jones (burgers).
Separately, Italian cuisine is also pervasive, given Singapore's cosmopolitan outlook, affluent expat communities, & enterprising foreign chefs. Downtown, I'll recommend Suntec City/Millenia Walk for such food; it has many other restaurants serving other foreign cuisine too.
Don't worry there are lots of options (prices, cuisines, etc) in SG
food, food, every where u see u will find food, whatever your preference or budget.
Why not do a walk through a hawker centre? Who knows, you may come to like some food that you might consider spicy.
