Either you take the aicon coach bus or aircon L 300 Mini Van - Price about 150 Pesos - one way. Little bit over one hour drive. Both services drop you down right in front of Caticlan pier or the Kalibo airport.

Banka right to Boracay - Boat stations 3 to 1

is about 35 Pesos including terminal fee - 20 minutes ride. Drop of is mostly right in front of the beach - your first " swim" is in the fare included....

thank you!

so, those pre-arranged round-trip transfers are way too costly at 700 or 800 per person..

They certainly are overpriced. Some people are nervous about travelling to Caticlan from Kalibo, but it's really pretty simple. Of course the easiest option is to fly straight into Caticlan airport.

Or ride MBS Virgin Mary or Mary the Queen from Manila / North Harbor Pier 8 twice a week and you will arrive in the morning right in front of Boracay`s White Beach.

thanks to you all, i'm not afraid of the transfers anymore. the trip could be exciting as we can get a glimpse of that part of the world.

yes, we're also thinking about boarding the ship. the savings vs a plane ride is really worth considering, of course with the fact that travel time is essentially sleep time at night.

thanks again.
