Kyoto 3 Days itinerary Help - Too much or too Little?

Hello. My family and I are traveling to Kyoto this August for three days. Could someone please help and advise if this itinerary is doable in the heat? Should we hire a guide and driver? I am traveling with three children. Thank you.

Day 1.

Kiymizu Dara Temple

Ninenzaka Street

Nishikiri Market

Gion - Our hotel is here

Day 2 Arashiyama

Tenrya Temple

Bamboo forest

Maybe Golden Temple or Nanzenji Temple????

Dinner somewhere?

Day 3

Kinube hike to Kamare and Kamare onsen

Fushi Shrine - Should we do this first or after onset?

Pontocho Alley dinner

Thank you!

Day 1.

Sanjusangendo Temple: Take the Keihan Railway from Sanjo(3rd Street) Station to its Shichijo(7th Street) Station, and walk the steep road up for 5 min. to visit this artistic highlight of Kyoto. Please read my reviews here.

Kiymizu Dara Temple: take a bus or short ride of Taxi (@1,000 yen) from Sanjusangendo to Kiyomizu-dera.

Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka Steeps

Nishiki Market

Dinner at Pontocho Alley: If it's August, enjoy your dinner at one of the Kawayuka Restaurants, where you can dine out in the open air, overlooking the Kamo River. You should reserve it by calling from your hotel.

Day 2 Arashiyama

Tenryuji Temple

Bamboo Grove: Exit from its north back exit, and walk leftward for a few min. and you are in the Grove.

Ninnaji Temple: Take the Tram-like "Randen"(Arashiyama train of Kaifuku Railway) from its Arashiyama Terminal bound to Kitano-Hakubaicho (not to Shijo-Omiya) and get off at Omuro-Ninaji and walk 5 min. to Ninnaji Temple.

Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion): Take a bus or short ride of Taxi (@700 yen) to Kinkakuji Temple(Golden Pavilion).

Day 3

Fushimi Inari Shrine: Take the Keihan Railway from its Sanjo(3rd Street) Station to its Fushimi Inari Station.

Nara: I personally think it is more important to visit Nara than Kibune. Take JR Nara Line(not Keihan) from its JR Inari Station to JR Nara.

Here are the Restaurants in Kyoto I recommend you.

2) is Kikunoi Roan, not Kikuni Roan
