A quick question about books.

Hi Folks, I'm hoping some of ye will be able to help me with this. Does anyone know of book shops in Tokyo, Yokohama or Kanazawa that stock books in English about Japan. I'm from Ireland and the Japan section of any book shop tends to be Geisha, Samurai or post-WWII. I would be particularly interesting on a history book about Sumo. Thanks.

1. Re: A quick question about books.

Big bookstore chains like Junkudo and Kinokuniya....especially in heavily touristed areas...will have lots of books on Japan in English. On sumo in particular, the sumo museum is likely to be open even with no tournament and will sell English language books on the subject.
