hello! we are 2 couples from India - aged 40 and 70 respectively planning a 9-10 day trip to Japan this year.
We are keen to see the best of the autumn foliage.
Would September end be a good time or is it too early?
the places we plan to loop in are Tokyo - Nagoya -Okayama- Osaka
September is too early for those places. You should carefully look at these.
The autumn leaves start in September in Hokkaido but don't get that far south until Oct/Nov/Dec
Search for Momiji Festival (autumn leaves festival). The one at Fuji Lakes region is the 1 to 23 Nov, Kyoto has a festival from mid-Nov.
