Grab Bali is not cheap anymore

Is anyone here experience the same thing?

My drivers are always call me after accepting my request, then they will ask for more price (my grab app says IDR 60,000 and they ask for IDR 100,000) they said it will be a traffic there. Which actually quite a lot in IDR. After we said yes and hop on to their car, they ask for cancel the grab. WTF?! It is a scam or what?? And it work almost the same price with the taxi that villa ask us but we run out of time

Have you tried using Go-jek? This is the similar but better service to Grab and the App includes Go-Blue Bird as well as so many other services. Go-jek is also an Indonesian created service and well established.

Which vehicle option are you choosing.

I select Grab Car, or Grab Car Plus, not Grab Taxi.

Never been asked for more.

If they do tell them to cancel, it shows on their record.

Then order another car.

I've never waited longer than 2 minutes for a car to arrive.

Word on the street Surfing Wild: Grab is in the process of making an offer to buy Go-Jek.

Found Grab to be only slightly cheaper than Bluebirds but the lack of English language by the drivers was a big handicap on a couple of occasions.

I paid 57k via Bluebird one way, and 37k return via Grab.

Nearly 40% difference.
