forex card vs cash

Hi everyone. I am travelling from India to Bali in few days. My query is related to currency,

1)is it wise to carry some USD cash and majority(say 75%) in forex card(USD)?

2) How easy is to withdraw USD cash from the forex card?

1. Re: forex card vs cash

The currency of Indonesia is Indonesian Rupiah.

Carry some USD with you and change to IDR when you get to Bali

Only use reputable money changers.

'Money Changers and Currency Advice' Topic under" Top Questions about Bali", on this page is a good guide.

The only currency accepted in Bali for purchases is IDR.

If you withdraw currency from your forex(?) card you will receive IDR from the ATM or BANK.

Happy Travels
