Cruising Hong Kong.

I'm considering doing a cruise in Hong Kong with Royal Caribbean in September. Can anyone tell me what condition the waters are in this month. Are they rough or fairly calm?

I am not expert on sea travel but I live in HK. Sept is still hot but passed rainy season which is around apr to July. I would not expect to many waves.

September is when the winds turn northeasterly again and the waves will pick up, don't know how much a cruise liner is affected.

It is also still typhoon season, and if there's a cyclone around that's when the real waves appear.
