Has anyone stayed in Makadi Palace?

Hi

I would love to know a bit more about the 1 bed suites as we are booked into one from July 27 - is it best to be on the ground floor with a terrace or higher up with a view? I understand they vary in size - what should I request to make sure we get a large one as there are 5 of us. Does anyone know anything about the 2 bed apartments in the ‘family’ wing? Are these bigger? Are you able to use the water slides in the sister Hotel or do you pay extra? If so how much? Thank you

Hi fijibird

The sister hotel 'Sunwing Makadi' charges Makadi palace guests €10 and under 12s €5 to use its aqua facilities and that includes food and beverage.

Can't comment on rooms at Makadi palace.

Happy holidays ☀

Hi, I stayed at the Palace in a junior suite which was quite big. To be honest, furniture is dated and ‘tired’ however the setting of the hotel and its beautiful grounds and above all the fantastic reef make up for the rest. Enjoy:-)
