If you want cheap restaurants for teens/young people, go to any university area like Hongdae or Ehwa. There are TONS and TONS of cafes, snack shops, corner snack stalls, restaurants...DIRT CHEAP. Toooooo many places to list. Just see what looks busy/cute and what they have.

I made a typo error in #03-12. Yeongyang Centre sells roast chicken not fried chicken and is very good. Skin is crispy too

Like Michael T said, Jongno area (near Youth Alley) is chock full of restaurants, both local ones and chains. I don't find it necessary to specifically go to famous ones, just pop into any place that looks good. Quality and prices are pretty consistent, and I haven't yet come across any that I find disappointing.

You can try downloading Mango Plate and or Four square! It works like yelp in Seoul.

No taxi driver will know Jongno Youth Alley as a place.

Just tell him Jonggak Station. It is right next to this area.
