Tramping Didi Abuli

I'd like to climb Didi Abuli next May and I'd need infos about:

- where the track to the summit starts

- how long does it take

- the altitude difference to cover

- any map that covers the track

Thank you in advance

Hello Stefano B

as you know Didi abuli is the highest peak in Samtskhe-Javakheti(3300m)

and in May the roads will be muddy and of course snowy to the top.

think you need good tent and special equipment too.

closest villages are: Abuli,Olaverdi,Balaxo and Aspara and to get to one of this villages you need 4 wheel driwe car,or you'll wait for public transport maby for half day.anyway Didi Abuli is really fascinating and unique.

I'm sure you can get more info via Borjomi tours borjomi.tours@gmail.c.....

Good luck!
