Baalbek by Public Transport

Hey guys! Heading to Lebanon next month and wondering if you could tell me what are the possible ways to get from Beirut to Baalbek (and the prices). Is there a public transport? Or some shared tour which is not too expensive (there are two of us)

If you don't like to use the services of a tour operator, the cheapest way to go to the Baalbeck temples is by bus or shared taxi from the Cola Intersection station, it will cost you around 5,000 LBP.

Travelling the 85 km, 2 hours drive between the Cola Intersection station and the Baalbeck temples is very safe, touring the Baalbeck-Hermel Governorate, the Baalbeck District and exploring the Baalbeck temples are also safe.

Sayda Khawla shrine and mosque is at the entrance of Baalbeck town, tell the driver you are going to the Sayda Khawla mosque and he will drop you off there.

The Cola station does not provide a timetable, usually buses and shared taxis leave when they are filled.
