If you don't like to use the services of a tour operator, the cheapest way to go to the Baalbeck temples is by bus or shared taxi from the Cola Intersection station, it will cost you around 5,000 LBP.Edited: 07 October 2018, 09:11
Sounds good ! Is it safe ?
Travelling the 85 km, 2 hours drive between the Cola Intersection station and the Baalbeck temples is very safe, touring the Baalbeck-Hermel Governorate, the Baalbeck District and exploring the Baalbeck temples are also safe.
Thank you so much for your kind help!
Where can i find timetable and also do they dropp off right at the entrance of the site or where is the stop exactly ? is the Sayda Khawla Shrine far from there ?
Thanks a lot
Sayda Khawla shrine and mosque is at the entrance of Baalbeck town, tell the driver you are going to the Sayda Khawla mosque and he will drop you off there.
The Cola station does not provide a timetable, usually buses and shared taxis leave when they are filled.
Thank you so much
