Turkey with an Infant baby. Possible?

Hi..At the very outset, let me thank to all the members at TA, who have made the whole forum page so knowledgeable ans interactive for first time travelers. We are a couple in our early 30's and planning a week long trip to Istanbul(4 nights) and Cappadocia(2 nights) with one day trip to Pamukkale.

The only concern i am facing is that can i travel easily(relatively) with an infant baby of 1.8 years.

a) Are babies allowed in hamam(Istanbul) and other religious places?

b) Are babies allowed for hot air balloon ride(Cappadocia)

c) Is it possible to take a baby stroller around in Pamukkale?

These are my specific areas of concerns. id anyone can assist, it would help me to take my decision quickly to travel.

Thanks a lot in advance

a) I suppose they might be, but the advice on this varies. Some consider it OK from about the age of 2, others not before the age of 7.

b) Probably not. I personally wouldn't advise it for, say, under-5s or under-6s.

c) Parts of the non-watery bits, yes.

Children are not allowed on balloons for their own safety.

A stroller wouldn’t be use in parts of Pamukele.

Three locations in a week is too ambitious! Pamukele is either a flight or an overnight bus journey away from either of your other locations.

Take a look at the Top Questions for Istanbul and you’ll find two about visiting with children.

You are really brave enough to travel with 1,8 years old baby…

a) Babies can enter mosques… BUT I am not certain about the hamam…

b) Due to safety reasons, you can not ride hot air balloon with baby…

c) You better use baby hangers instead of stroller…

We traveled in 2016 with a 6 months old baby :)

It was fun. We went to Istanbul and Cappadocia (by local flight)

A good stroller worked almost everywhere for us.

She was responsible for keeping the baby well fed, and I, for its commuting. None of us complained :)

Plus you have last few months for availing an infant seat on the flights, and save big bucks!!

Don't worry too much, you'd enjoy!
