By boat from PP to Siem Reap?

We are considering taking the boat from PP to Siem Reap and according to guides it should take about 5 hours... a long time.

Has anyone done this and is it worth it?

I think it's worth it if it'll be your first visit to Cambodia(I really enjoyed my frist boat trip!).

Not a hellishly long trip like the Siem Reap-Battambang route, and you can see a bit of river life. 5~6 hours is not a long time, the bus also takes 5~6 hours. Have your hotel book the tickets, and they will pick you up in the morning & take you to the dock.
