Do you know if there is a train or bus after 5PM from Nha Trang to Dalat?
There's no train line between the two cities. I'm sure there's a night bus. But you'll find noone on this forum who will recommend a night bus on the mountain roads.
Or any roads. tuoitrenews.vn/society/33009/man-gets-11-yea…
Almost all the busses run during daylight hours. The night runs are mostly by local couriers and not worth risking your sanity and safety over. Better to overnight in Nha Trang and travel during daylight.
Your local here .Dear commentators who are in this topic !
For some reason that tourists or local people have to go Dalat after 5pm or earlier in the morning. there is still
Vu Huong bus ( local bus) . The one i know and i went on !
Definitely no train line so that rules that out. No one in their right mind would travel at night by bus in Vietnam, especially over mountainous roads.

you should take a plane because there's no train line between the two cities.
As far as I know there's also no direct flight, so scrub that.
Suggesting someone fly via SGN, DAD or HAN to cover a distance of 150 km is a bit much.Edited: 02 February 2016, 13:09

Something to consider is hiring an easy rider and to the trip over 2 days riding on the back of a motorbike. It beats travelling by bus and the journey is very nice..
And to add to DP's comment, #9 sounds like a Vietnamese touting for business as well
