Cruises getting canceled?

Hi guys

Anyone currently in Hanoi got their cruise cancelled for the next few days?

I am booking a tour as we speak and hotel suggests we book on 18th rather for tomorrow and stay 2 more nights with them :)

Cheers

Typhoon Mangkhut is on its way to Northern Vietnam. There won't be any cruises the next few days.

Thanks guys.

Anyone can recommend a tour to do until 18th?

Something not too expensive would be nice.

Thanks

Maybe head over to Ninh Binh for a few days, but if the weather isn’t going to be great it might be better to stay put.

Can think of worse things than being 'stuck' in Hanoi, hey Jo. 😉

Frankly, I don't envisage the weather being great for anything, the bay included for at least three days after the storm had passed.

I'd move south. Perhaps I'm just a weirdo in that I don't like being rained on when I'm on holidays.

Unfortunately I am stuck in Hanoi until 21st of Sep! Probably gonna check Ninh Binh out tomorrow.

Cheers

Ninh Binh is a good alternative!

I can recommend this company.

Google 'Eco Travel Go Green Vietnam' and talk to Manh about Pu Luong... It's a beautiful place North of Hanoi. If you contact Manh he can organise everything for you. I highly recommend this company.

Presumably supplying bigger umbrellas? A nature reserve wouldn't be on my places to be in a tropical storm.
