what a great question
its never been asked before
its about 30bht a day ,in the back of a buffalo drawn cart and you get to keep the dung for free, ( you can take it back in your hand luggage for your rose patch back home)
You ratbag, Andy!
Betty, you should be paying around 1,500 baht per day.
I take it that Andy is an environmentalist with a love for gardening, but disregard his advice, not everyone is so passionate about bringing the sights and smells of their holiday home :oP Sure, he has some great flowers though.
Arent you just a lovely fellow Andy?
I dont think we have many like yourself in Oz, what a shame.
I think all our Aussies are too busy enjoying our great beaches, great weather and just our great country to have time with posts like yours.
We are the friendly country and I feel really proud right now to be an Aussie.
Thankyou for all your help Andy.
We paid Mr Mor around 1500-1600 baht per day but it does depend on how far you go... for one day we paid just 1200 as we hadn't driven such a long distance, so petrol costs were lower. He usually reckons on driving 100 miles per day or more and petrol usually accounts for 700-800 b of his fee. So if you have more shopping trips and stops, or stay in one part of the island, it should be less. You can email him on firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to book him.
Thanks for all that great info it helps heaps.
We fly out in the morning and havent been there before and havent really done a lot of travelling o/s yet so maybe one day I might be able to help out someone else in the same boat as myself.
Have a great weekend
no offence bettyboo
