I’m sure this has been asked a million times but is ice okay to have in your drinks etc in Thailand?
Using a computer do a forum search. This question has come up often over the years.
Sample search below.
(FAQs on the side and forum search for other questions could be helpful too!)
Hi Jesslead and welcome to Trip Advisor.
You’re right. That question is asked often but it’s a sensible thing to ask about if you’ve never been to Thailand before.
Yes, ice in drinks is perfectly safe and is made from treated water. The only time it could be a problem would be if you were in a remote place and a chunk of ice was hacked off a block made with river water.
The question has only been asked 958,257 times.
Answer still yes.
Yes you are correct it is a question that gets asked quite a lot but don't worry about it. The short answer is that yes ice is fine in Thailand it is made in factories alongside the bottled water that everyone drinks and delivered in sealed plastic bags to the bars.
Here is a link to a recent thread with plenty of answers on the subject.
