I am travelling on 10/8/18 but just realised my passport expires on 1/1/19 what should we do?

I have booked with family and a little daughter. The tickets were prebooked 2 months ago... please helpzzz on an exception do they allow

No they don't, renew passport, easy enough and you have time.

On second thought, your date, is that month / day or day / month ?

The passport validity requirements depend on the destination country and your undisclosed nationality.

You can get the answer that most airlines will respect by entering your details at https://www.iatatravelcentre.com .

For quite many nationalities it is sufficient for passports to be valid during the intended stay.

6 months validity period applies, rules cant be bent to suit you only. Renew the passport

Probably too late to renew your passport if you’re planning on going on 10 August. That is unless in your country you can pay extra for express service. Not knowing your nationality, we can’t comment.
