Christmas in Kathmandu

We will be in Kathmandu Christmas eve and day,and a day or 2 after, staying in a hotel. Are places open on these days? Where can we find a Catholic Church with mass in English near Crowne Plaza hotel? Any special events going on or anything we should make sure we do not miss?

The shops will be open on those days. Actually, in the Christmas, there is a public holiday. but shops, hotels, restaurants and bars will be open on the eve and also on the Christmas day. Actually, there will be a lots of events organized on those days, especially by hotels, bars, restaurants and a lot of offers made.

For knowing more about the offers that are made on those days, please read the daily newspapers on those days.
