Namaste, beside the price of the entry, it is compulsory to take a guide...minimum price to have a good guide is 2500 Npr. Then you will have to carry the food and the water...sometime, if your resort is far from the entry, you have to pay extra for transport. You must think that it is not a zoo and that it can be very dangerous, so you must be always at hundred percent of your capacity...sometime you have to run or to climb in a tree to escape the danger. It means that you must have enough food and water. Usually it is always better to take the guide of your hotel. The guide, at the entrance are not all very good...

By the way, if you want to have more chance to see the tiger, go to Bardia.
