We recently came back from 14 days in Rajasthan. It had been a lifelong dream to visit India but I was overwhelmed with where to begin. As I was browsing on Tripadvisor, I came upon several posts about a tour company called Indian Excursions. I contacted them and the very next day, we began a back and forth email correspondence with Maddie. She was very efficient, thoughtful and precise. She put together a fabulous trip for us in the high-end style which we wanted. We scheduled a car and driver with a guide in every city we visited. Within two weeks we had booked flights, had our vaccinations and our visas. We finalized our tour agreement with them and made our payment to them in advance. We arrived in the wee hours of the morning and were met by Shiv at the airport with car and driver. They promptly deposited us at our hotel, handed us our local cell and thereafter everything went like clockwork. Shiv was on the other end of the phone 24/7. Our driver, Sanjay, was very kind and treated us like family - he was always on hand if we needed to go somewhere. We usually plan our own trips and in all honesty, it is hard to let go of the control and allow someone else to figure it out but hands down, the most amazing planning and organization that I could have dreamed of.
