Travel adapter!

Silly question (I guess) but should I be bringing a 2 pinned travel adapter with us?

I've never seen 2 pin plug holes in the Gambia, seen lots of people sticking 2 pin plugs in 3 pin holes!!

Maybe someone will correct me but never used an adapter in 9 years....

Kombo beach hotel has both 2 pin european and 3 pin British. We always take a one metre lead with a 4 way plug as there is always a shortage off sockets. Saves keeping unplugging fridge/lamp/mobile charger/hair str8ners etc etc

Needed an adaptor at Sunbeach they have the two pin electricity supply. Going to Atlantic in three weeks anyone know if its still three pin there, just wondering if anything changed during the recent renovating of the hotel.
