We love going to crazy restaurants and/bars/shops when we travel. For example: We went to a place in Prague with belly dancers, fire blowers, Scottish music playing show in a dungeon (Super fun), NYC: we went to a ninja themed restaurant with magic shows. Chicago: underground burlesque bar called The Drifter

We are also wine enthusiast. Not interested in Luau

Any suggestions are welcomed :)

I'm sorry--I didn't rec Sly Mongoose for a few reasons. The biggest is that tourists really aren't wanted there. Sorry to be blunt but it's the truth.

If you do hit Java Jazz - be sure to spend some time talking to the owner. Might help meet your first three objectives....LOL

Curious.... don't travel much. Would it be dangeroys for tourists? Rude? Something else?

If you're asking about the Mongoose, it's a local dive bar. Nothing outrageous, unique, or special. It's one of the few places locals can relax.

jedi - I can't comment on the local Hawaiian bars, -but in general there is a different vibe in tourist areas for the bars that cater to tourists vs locals. If you live in a big tourist area, at times you just want to "get away" - and it is important to respect that. Most places you are not gonna get in a fight or anything, just a cold shoulder from the people there
