What is the best place to eat breakfast or brunch in Disneyland?
I'm sure there are better more exciting places to eat, but our favorite has always been Carnation Cafe.
Since we're Annaul Pass holders, we don't have to stress about getting to the rides right away, so we would get there at opening and head straight to the Carnation Cafe (Halfway down Main Street on the left). Ask for a table near Main Street so that you can watch all the people coming in, stressing about the lines, while you sit there and enjoy your Mickey Mouse waffle.
Interesting story. One of the dishes is named Oscar's Special. Oscar exists. We met him at the restaurant on July 17th (Disneyland's actual 50th Birthday). He started at DL in the late 1950s and still works there.
If you want to try something outside the parks, Rainforest Cafe has a decent breakfast.
Also check to see if your hotel includes any kind of breakfast.
We were very happy with our breakfast at the Storyteller's Cafe in the Grand Californian Hotel. For $20 you get full access to the buffet which included made-to-order omelettes, fresh fruit, breakfast meats, all kinds of yummy pasteries and refills on juice and coffee. Also biscuits and gravy if you like that kind of thing.
It was lots of fun, Chip n Dale and Pluto are around to take pictures here and many other characters. Have fun! :)
Inside the Disneyland Park try the pancake house between Adventureland and Frontierland. You can sit outside and look out over the river, while having your breakfast.
The Mickey Mouse pancakes are great!!!
These ideas are perfect! Thank you so much.
